To California educators and students,
The California Coastal Commission is holding a Coastal Art & Poetry Contest. California students in kindergarten through 12th grade are invited to submit artwork or poetry with a coastal or marine theme.
Up to eight winners will be selected to win a gift certificate to an art supply or book store, and each winner's sponsoring teacher will receive a gift certificate to the Acorn Naturalists catalog. Winners may have their work featured on Commission web pages and printed materials. Entries must be postmarked by January 31, 2004 to be eligible. For contest rules and entry forms, visit www.coastforyou.org, email afrankel@coastal.ca.gov, or call (800) Coast-4U.
Good luck!
